Cape Vidal
[St. Lucia Estuary] [First Rocks] [Mission Rocks] [Cape Vidal] [Eleven Point]

Cape Vidal, named after Lieutenant A Vidal, who was send by the Royal Crown of Britain in 1822 to survey the coast from St. Lucia Estuary to Kosi Bay.
A final destination since no routes exists further up the coast. This beautiful beach offers a splendid bay with excellent snorkeling(tidal permitted). Parts of the ship wreck, Dorothea can be spotted from time to time.
Accommodation is in rustic self catering log cabins or the beautiful caravan park spread out under the canopy of the coastal dune forest.
All this within walking distance from the bay area.
