Mphelane, The Southern most part of the Park, is also the highest vegetated (185m) sand dune in South Africa and the second highest vegetated sand dune in the World. The view from the top of this dune is exquisite and on a clear day one can see for miles. This area is very unique since it is the Southern most part of the Mozambique coastal plain and the Northern section of the Tugela shelve.
